Behind the Financial Hope

When growing up money was it drilled into your heads to save it, do not get into debt and stop spending your money.   Then there was a bit of shame placed on you as well, because if you did not take this advise, you would be criticized for not knowing how to handle your money.

Some of us were not taught at an early age how to save, invest and what to do with your money.  How to treat money and what you can do now, rather than later with it.  There are a lot of ways to get money and how to get there takes effort and time.

When we reflect on your early twenties, you probably thought you knew all you needed to know about money.  We followed those drills, initially spoke about on saving it and not spend your money.  Now getting right to the nitty-gritty and knowing what I know now, we sure did not know enough.

We did not have the Internet for the resources at the time and you followed what your parents told you to do.  You did the necessary reading in high school and college, but did not pick up a book to just get the additional knowledge or resources to provide us all about the money alternatives.

We can all change our thoughts about money.
