When deciding to start a business several years ago, I wanted to be an
Event Manager; to plan events for corporations, weddings and birthday
parties. I love planning events, but now most of the time it is in
conjunction with another business.
Before starting another business, I contacted an attorney to see if I
needed to create a LLC for each business or should I lump each venture
into one. Immediately, I was advised to protect yourself and the
business and create a separate LLC for each. Having multiple businesses
for me assures that life will never be boring.
Every time you start a new company, you have the opportunity to learn
something new. Doing a new business will keep your skills fresh. You can use the experience of starting another company and do it again
and again. You get to create highly valuable relationships that enrich
you personally and you get to build a great platform to do more.
